An early morning fire forced residents to move out of their homes in Conshohocken, Montgomery County. The incident took place on the 200 block of West Elm Street on Wednesday, when fire broke out at around 3:30 a.m.

A fourth floor residence in the Grande at Riverview condominium complex was in flames, according to firefighters.

The fire officials activated the sprinkler system so the blaze did not spread beyond one residence.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation at a nearby hospital.

All the evacuated residents were housed at a nearby fire shelter. There was no information as to when residents would be allowed back in their homes.

According to the fire officials nobody has been reported to be missing. Meanwhile the cause of the fire is being investigated.
