Motorola introduced the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power on Tuesday in India. These devices are part of the company's new G-series collection targeting buyers looking for budget-friendly smartphones. The Moto G37 and G37 Power are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. The Moto G37 features a 5,200mAh battery, whereas the G37 Power is equipped with a larger 7,000mAh battery. Both smartphones operate on Android 16. The Moto G37 is launched at a price of Rs. 13,999 for its only model that includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It comes in Pantone Capri and Pantone Impenetrable colors. The Moto G37 Power is priced at Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB + 128GB version and Rs. 18,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. In addition to the previous colors, it is available in a third color called Pantone Nautical Blue. As part of the launch promotions, buyers can get an instant discount of Rs. 5,000 when purchasing the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power using IDFC, ICICI, or SBI Credit Cards. There is an additional discount of Rs. 5,500 for EMI payments using IDFC Bank Credit Cards. Both models will be available for buying on Flipkart, the Motorola India website, and various retail outlets starting from May 25.
The Moto G37 and G37 Power are dual-SIM (nano + nano) smartphones running on Android 16. Each model has a 6.6-inch HD+ (720 x 1,604) LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a pixel density of 264ppi, a touch sampling rate of 120Hz, peak brightness up to 1,050 nits (HBM), and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The G-series devices run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC. The G37 comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage, while the G37 Power offers a choice of up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Both models support RAM expansion up to 12GB with the RAM Boost feature and can expand storage to 1TB via a microSD card. For photography, both the Moto G37 and G37 Power have a dual rear camera setup, featuring a primary 50-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, as well as a secondary 2-in-1 light sensor that acts as both an ambient light sensor and a flicker detector. They include an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features of the Motorola devices include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The Moto G37 measures 166.23 x 76.50 x 7.85mm and weighs 191g, while the Moto G37 Power has dimensions of 166.23 x 76.50 x 8.89mm with a weight of 215g.
Both the G37 and G37 Power are rated IP64 for dust and water resistance and have MIL-STD-810H certification. The devices include a fingerprint scanner located on the side for secure access. The Motorola G37 is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging, whereas the G37 Power features an even bigger 7,000mAh battery with quicker 30W wired charging. Additionally, these smartphones can also perform reverse wired charging at 6W.
