 
        
A Cancer patient from Pennsylvania, who is going through treatment for colon cancer had won contest of pizza parlor’s raffle for a year worth of free pizza, and then he donated his prize to a local food bank.
Josh Katrick is a 36 year old man from Northampton, just completed his eighth round of chemotherapy, when he learned that he had won the contest which was conducted by his favorite neighborhood pizza restaurant.
After hearing the plans of Katrick’s donation to the Northampton Food Bank, the owners of Mario’s pizza decided to double the winning prize and offer prize to both Katrick and the food bank.
Katrick said that he is been getting so much from his friends, family and strangers over the past few weeks. So he wanted to give the winning prize to those who could use the pizza more.
Roughly around 1,200 people entered the contest.
