This week marks the introduction of the Motorola Razr 60 in the Indian market. This release follows the earlier launch of the Razr 60 Ultra in the same country earlier this year. The Moto Razr 60 is positioned as the budget-friendly variant in the lineup, aiming to attract a wider audience to experience the flip phone, which operates on Android right out of the box. The recently unveiled Motorola device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity processor, a sizable cover display, and a dual-camera configuration. In India, the Motorola Razr 60 is available at a price point of Rs 49,999 for the single variant offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Customers can choose from three different colors, with sales commencing on June 4.

The Razr 60 showcases a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display as the main screen, boasting a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness reaching 3000 nits. Additionally, it features a 3.6-inch cover display, which also utilizes an LTPO AMOLED panel, but offers a 90Hz refresh rate and lower brightness. This external display allows users to access navigation maps, control music playback without needing to open the phone, as well as shortcuts for apps and the ability to manage calls and messages.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, the Razr 60 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 15 straight from the factory, enhanced with the Moto UI which incorporates new AI functionalities. Due to its design as a flip phone, the Razr 60 accommodates a 4,500mAh battery, supporting 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging options. It features a dual rear camera setup that includes a primary 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization alongside a 13MP ultra-wide lens, while the front offers a 32MP camera. Motorola asserts that the titanium hinge of the Razr 60 has undergone extensive testing to endure over 500,000 flip cycles.

The device is equipped with dual stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security, and holds an IP48 rating for splash resistance. With the flip phone market largely dominated by higher-end devices, the Razr 60 faces limited competition in its price range.
